Police searching for Austin man who went missing from Burnet County eclipse festival

The Burnet County Sheriff’s Office is looking for 28-year-old Ty Swails, who was last seen at the Texas Eclipse Festival on April 7.

Swails, who is from Austin, was last seen by his friends at Reveille Peak the day before the festival was canceled. He is described as medium height with a trim build.

Festival organizers announced the cancelation of the event on Monday, just hours before the eclipse. Attendees were asked to leave the campgrounds "promptly."
