Trespasser caught watching porn in Vanderbilt University lab
Security cameras captured the man in a restricted lab area smoking a cigarette and using the computer.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A man is facing charges after he was caught in a restricted building on Vanderbilt University’s campus watching inappropriate material on one of school computers.
According to the arrest affidavit, 33-year-old Centerius Bryant was captured by surveillance cameras in a restricted lab area at Vanderbilt on April 16. Police said staff members observed Bryant smoking a cigarette while watching pornography on a university computer.
Bryant is also charged with jumping the fence to gain access to the University School of Nashville on April 18. Police said he was captured on camera there, as well. Bryant allegedly stole pants, a raincoat, a heavy jacket, and a backpack full of school supplies during his break-in over several hours, according to the arrest affidavit.
In another incident, Bryant was found trespassing at the same restricted medical building on Vanderbilt’s campus on Wednesday, April 24.
He was taken into custody and faces a slew of trespassing, theft, vandalism, and evading arrest charges.
