SNELLVILLE — Alex Reyes’ walk-off hit in the bottom of the 11th inning gave Brookwood’s baseball team a 6-5 win in Game 1, and the Broncos posted a 5-0 victory in the nightcap for a sweep of Colquitt County in the Class AAAAAAA first round on Thursday.
John Beverley also stole his school record 32nd base of the season as the hosts advanced to a second-round series at Region 3-AAAAAAA champion Hillgrove next week.
