Tomah pitching to Holmen

Pitching was dominant early on in this one.

HOLMEN, Wis. (WXOW) - The Holmen Softball team took on Tomah at home on Thursday afternoon.

Pitching was dominant early on in this one. Both of the pitchers for Holmen and Tomah were dueling scoreless innings up until the fourth. That was when Olivia Wall drove in a run for Tomah as she smacked a ball into left for a hit. A little later in that inning Avary Brohmer drove a single into center to make it a 2-0 game. Then in the sixth inning, Brohmer lined a grounder to third that the third baseman overthrow the ball to first base. Two scored on that play and that made it 4-0. Later in that inning, Avary Chapman grounded a ball past the second baseman to make it 5-0.

That would end up being the final in this one as Tomah take this one over Holmen.
