Like many hotels across the country, the hospitality industry in New Mexico has bounced back from travel limitations brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Like many hotels across the country, the hospitality industry in New Mexico has bounced back from travel limitations brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic.

In 2022, the Land of Enchantment surpassed pre-pandemic levels of visitor spending. Visitor spending on lodging jumped from $1.83 billion in 2020 to $2.66 billion in 2022, according to the New Mexico Tourism Department Research, Plans & Reports.

The oldest hotels on the Santa Fe and Northern New Mexico Hotels List are:

  • El Rey Court – 1936
