WAVERLY, Iowa (KWWL) - Waverly-Shell Rock Superintendent Ed Klamfoth says administrators within the district are not aware of any specific threats after a troubling video emerged on social media.
Officials say the video began circulating over the weekend and they are working with local law enforcement to monitor the situation.
Klamfoth says the video itself did not indicate that any laws were broken, but administrators are urging families to remind students about being safe and responsible online.
Again, Klamfoth says there are no known threats as of Tuesday morning, but he is encouraging anyone who becomes aware of a threat to contact school officials.
