One local dealership even said multiple cars have come in with damage.

Colby Forrester was having a nice Saturday morning until his wife called him, saying her car was broken into.

“I got a call from her,” Forrester said. “Saying, ‘I need you to come help me.’ I like, ‘What happened?’ She goes, ‘My car got broke into and they stole a bunch of stuff.’”

Her car was parked at LaFortune Park. She was playing tennis when she got the news.

“Proceeded to go into play her normal rounds of tennis, a few minutes later, a gentleman came up to her and asked about her certain car and informed her that her windows had been broken out,” Forrester said.

FOX23 was sent pictures of another victim’s car that was parked near Forrester’s wife's car.

You can see glass shattered everywhere inside this vehicle. The owner also had personal items stolen.

We reached out to the Tulsa Police Department (TPD), who told us they got multiple calls starting around 12:30 p.m. Saturday about cars being broken into.

We also reached out to a detective with the burglary unit, who said they were made aware of possible vandalism at the Clubhouse.

Colby's wife made a report to police.

"I know times are tough, but you're hitting people that are having tough times too,” Forrester said.

Forrester said it’s not just about the car, it’s about the worry they are now left with.

“If it’s just about cash and that kind of thing, that’s one thing, but putting companies and people’s credit and that kind of thing in jeopardy is a pretty tough thing to chock down, so there's better ways to go about this than just of bashing people’s cars and stealing,” Forrester said.

TPD is investigating the case and we will bring you more information as it becomes available. If you have any information about what happened you can always call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
