HOSCHTON — Cherokee pushed across a run in the top of the 11th inning and held on to defeat Mill Creek 3-2 in an opening round series of the Class AAAAAAA baseball playoffs on Friday.
The Warriors (22-11), who will next travel to North Gwinnett for their second-round series, won both of their games over Mill Creek in extra innings.
