COBDEN, Ill. (KFVS) - If you’re looking for a family-friendly place to watch the Total Solar Eclipse, the Historic Bell Hill in Cobden, Illinois will be hosting a viewing event.

On April 8, the scenic overlook of the Shawnee National Forest at the top of Bell Hill will provide plenty of space for families to hang out and view the eclipse. Families are invited to bring blankets or lawn chairs, have a picnic on the hill, and enjoy some yard games.

Glasses for viewing will be provided at the event. Tickets range in price from $10 for children ages 4-12, and $20 for those older than 13.

Tickets can be purchased on the Historic Bell Hill website.
