38 new COVID-19 cases were announced in NH

The New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services announced the first coronavirus related death in 11 days on Saturday. The new death was associated with a long-term care facility. Since the start of the pandemic, 8,121 Granite Staters have been infected with coronavirus; 303 are active cases.Of the new cases, four were in individuals under the age of 18. No new hospitalized cases were identified in the state for a total of 734. That is 9% of the total 8,121 cases. There are currently 18 people hospitalized in New Hampshire for complications of COVID-19.Health officials say community-based transmission continues to occur in the state and has been identified in all counties.
