The New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services announced the first coronavirus related death in 11 days on Saturday. The new death was associated with a long-term care facility. Deaths in the state now total 439.>> Download the FREE WMUR appOfficials say 38 new positive cases of COVID-19 were identified in New Hampshire. Since the start of the pandemic, 8,121 Granite Staters have been infected with coronavirus; 303 are active cases.Of the new cases, four were in individuals under the age of 18. No new hospitalized cases were identified in the state for a total of 734. That is 9% of the total 8,121 cases. There are currently 18 people hospitalized in New Hampshire for complications of COVID-19.Health officials say community-based transmission continues to occur in the state and has been identified in all counties.
