Owner of Phenix Plumbing Supply retires after 41 years

PHENIX CITY, AL (WTVM) - The owner of an area plumbing company is stepping away from his business after more than 40 years of service.

Gerald Hudson, the owner of Phenix Plumbing Supply is selling his business to Chattahoochee Wholesale Supply. The company says the transition will expand the business and include new services and products while maintaining competitive pricing.

"There's just mixed emotions but they're good. You know I have a lot of good customers, good friends, family, and employees. The Lord has been good to me and a lot of people have been good to me over the 41 years" says Hudson.

Friends and family supported Hudson and wished him well during an event Wednesday.
