"Frozen," dueling banjos, a rapper and Christmas shoes are just a few of the things immortalized in Christmas lights around the Atlanta area. Here's a tour from WSBTV.com of some of the best and craziest holiday displays.
The first stop is Christmas in Castille. Check out Elsa in lights in the show's most popular song, "Let It Go." Owner Ken MacMaster says the display includes 5,200 feet of extension cords and 240 channels running 55,000 lights. (Mobile users, click HERE for video.)
Dallas, Georgia, is home to a half-dozen homes with lights that electrify to music. Aubuchon Lights is done with pixel sequencing that produces an almost unbelievable sight. Around the corner from Aubuchon Lights is Atkinson Christmas Lights. The display has doubled in size from last year after the new neighbors, the Rowell family, decided to take part. Here are the dueling banjos between the two families. (Mobile users, click HERE for video.)
The Atkinson show includes holiday movie inserts. The family started with the lights in 2007 and added music in 2010. There's about 20,000 lights running on 84 program channels. (Mobile users, click HERE for video.)
Dallas is home to the Stokes Family Christmas Lights display, too. The music lineup there includes "What a Glorious Night" by Sidewalk Prophets, "This Christmas" by Toby Mac and the Tran-Siberian Orchestra. (Mobile users-click HERE for video.)

For those on the northeast side of town, head to Vinyard Christmas in Lawrenceville. When they started in 2009, the display featured 48 channels that powered the show. For 2015, the new tree in the front yard features 2,400 channels of automation itself. Visitors can even partially control the lights from their phones. (Mobile users, click HERE for video.)
Back in Alpharetta, the McMinn family boasts an impressive Christmas display, too. Their house features 100,000 lights, the Grinch, Snoopy, "Cars," inflatables and plenty more. (Mobile users, click HERE for video.)
