Before Shelby interjected, 'She wasn't even awake! She was sleeping through it the whole time! I wasn't even being dramatic I could've died.'

Meanwhile, Ashley continued to giggle as she told Instagram fans she was 'dead asleep' during the ordeal and woke up to ask Shelby if she wanted to go to the hospital.

In December, she confirmed the two had split in an Instagram post.

'This is the main question that I have been asked and the answer is yes! Catch up, guys. This was, like, over a month ago that this happened,' she said in a video post.

She added with a wink: 'So, yeah, definitely single. Loving life as well.'

Another follower asked how she'd been coping with having such a public breakup, and Shelby said she'd been keeping busy.

'I just have, like, a really good support network, I guess, and I just keep busy, and also the fact that I know I gave 110 per cent in that relationship makes it a lot easier to walk away,' she explained.

Ashley is also a familiar faces with Australian TV viewers as she rose to fame one season five of Married At First Sight alongside her groom Troy Delmege. They're no longer together, but remain friends.
