Terry Arthur Munn, 64, died at his Dayton, Tennessee home on the evening of April 6, 2021, following an almost three-year battle with Pancreatic Cancer.
Terry was born in Akron, Ohio to parents Harry A. Munn and Laura May (Reninger) Munn in January 1957. Terry was a U.S. Air Force veteran as a Staff Sergeant and Electronic/Computer Systems Specialist. Moving to Las Vegas, NV after the Air Force he spent the next 26 years of his career working for military contractors including Ford Aerospace, Loral Aerospace and Lockheed Martin, the Rivera Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas and retired from the local county government of Clark County NV in Las Vegas. Terry was a Certified Novell Engineer (CNE) and a graduate with high honors of the College of Southern with an Associate in Applied Science-Electronics Engineering Technology. After moving to the Chattanooga area in 2009, Terry worked in IT for the Chattanooga Public Library until the IT Department was merged with the City of Chattanooga's IT Department, when he fully retired. Terry enjoyed wood working, remodeling projects, gardening, watching the Vols play football and golfing several days a week.
Terry is survived by his wife of over 41 years, Tommie A. (Medlin) Munn, originally from Hixson, brother, Gary (Susan) of Hockley, TX, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, R. David and Jamie (Medlin) Cobleigh of Hixson, nieces, Heather (Josh) Tullock of Calhoun, TN and Laura Munn of Hockley, TX.
Terry was preceding in death by his parents and youngest brother, Barry John Munn of Las Vegas, NV.
There will be no services.
Burial will be at Chattanooga National Cemetery on a future date.
