Michael Cole is a PhD candidate at the University of Tartu, Estonia and visiting researcher at the Jagiellonian University, Krakow. His dissertation, as part of the Marie Curie Horizon 2020 project ‘Delayed Transformational FATIGUE’, assesses Russia’s influence on far-right populist discourses in Georgia and Ukraine.
Michael’s research interests also include the relationship between football and politics, the use of social media to normalise extreme political views, and far-right community building.
