Bahrain International Circuit getting ready for National Day festival

This year's festival will include a variety of programmes, most notable of which is a shopping bazaar made up of a wide range of products.

Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) is preparing for the third annual National Day Festival. The event will take place at the circuit from December 14 to 17 from 4 to 10pm.
This year's festival will include a variety of programmes, most notable of which is a shopping bazaar made up of a wide range of products.
All stalls of the bazaar have already been reserved. In addition, there are entertainment programmes, activities and games for children and a carnival for adults.
Last year's festival featured various events including fireworks and concerts with the number of visitors reaching 100,000 over five days.
Works minister opens Argan Village Park
Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Minister Eng. Essam bin Abdullah Khalaf stressed the importance of establishing partnerships with the private sector for supporting the community, he said this while opening the Argan Village Park in Saraya Bu Quwah last week.
The minister outlined the ministry's efforts and the leadership support for the implementation of the Government Action Plan, which stresses bolstering sustainable development and promoting the private sector's investment contribution in various sectors.
It is worth mentioning that the Argon Village Park cost has topped $1 million and includes a group of recreational and service facilities, as well as children's arcades.
Legal book fair inaugurated
Bahrain Bar Society (BBS) has inaugurated its annual legal book fair, in the presence of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa and Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) Chairman Salim Al Kawari.
The exhibition is being held in cooperation with the ministry, the Supreme Judicial Council and Mahmoud Company for Publishing and Distribution. The minister stressed the importance of the annual exhibition, thanking the lawyers' association for organising the fair which showcases legal encyclopedias and latest reference books.
Al Kawari commended BBS keenness on holding the annual exhibition which plays a vital role in enriching lawyers' legal culture. BBS Chairperson Huda Al-Mehza also thanked the minister and the SJC chairman, stressing keenness on promoting legal services.
