GUILFORD, CT — First Selectman Matt Hoey said that four Guilford police officers and two emergency medical workers were exposed to a person who has tested positive for COVID-19.

"During a response for assistance to a private residence on two separate calls, four police officers and two EMTs were exposed to an asymptomatic individual who later tested positive for the coronavirus. After a review of the contact incident by Health Director, Dennis Johnson, all four police officers and the two EMTs were told, in an abundance of caution, to home quarantine until April 1, 2020."
