Cage Warriors Fight Night 9 heads to Bahrain on Oct. 25

graham-boylan.jpgCage Warriors will make a return to the Middle Eastern island nation of Bahrain on Oct. 25 for Cage Warriors Fight Night 9.

Company officials confirmed the plans with MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com), which will provide a stream of the event’s main card.

Cage Warriors Fight Night 9 takes place at Khalifa Sports City in Isa Town, which also hosted Cage Warriors Fight Night 6 in May 2012.

No fights have yet been finalized for the card.

According to officials, the event will be hosted under the patronage of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Bahrain’s first vice chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, and president of the Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation.

“Bahrain has always hosted a wide range of sporting events throughout the year, and we certainly welcome Cage Warriors back for another suspense-filled evening in which fighters will demonstrate their strength, skills and discipline in this ultimate combat sport,” he stated.

Cage Warriors Fight Night 9 takes place three weeks after Cage Warriors 60 and marks the organization’s 11th event of 2013.

“Our last show in Bahrain was one of my favorite CWFC events of the last few years,” Cage Warriors CEO Graham Boylan stated. “I expect CWFC Fight Night 9 to be even better again, and I’d like to sincerely thank HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa for paving the way for us to return.”
