Police: Teen assaulted with baseball bat at Twinfield school

A Plainfield teen is in trouble after police say he assaulted another teen on the Twinfield Union High School baseball fields.
Police say it happened Tuesday afternoon at the school's baseball fields in Marshfield. Police say Nathan Deforge, 16, assaulted James Berte, 18, of Marshfield, with an aluminum bat while at the baseball fields.
The victim notified police while being treated at the hospital.
Deforge was arrested at his home. He is due in court Wednesday afternoon to answer to the charge of aggravated assault.
