Steal The Black Bread Lyrics
The curtain fall?
Were we insane...watching the life begin
To leak from every single scar
Making voyeurs of us All
Forgive the hand
And forgive the knife
For losses cut...won't bleed as red as
The flesh beneath this sullen sky
"How can we kill them all tonight?"
"It's not just a right to survive!"
Hear the sound of a sinking ship, Now
Hold your breath or you're gonna drown
Blood and Oil never mixed until Now
Fly that flag, only red and red and...
You tap the veins
And nearly drown
And honest eyes...would think by now that all
The blood and oil and all you've found
Would run your truth into the ground!
Hold your breath or you're gonna drown
Blood and Oil never mixed until Now
Fly that flag, only red and red and...Black
"I won't allow it BURN"
Hear the sound of a sinking ship, Now
Hold your breath or you're gonna drown
Blood and Oil never mixed until Now
Fly that flag, only red and red and...
Hear the sound of a sinking ship, Now
Hold your breath or you're gonna drown
Blood and Oil never mixed until Now
About
Steal The Black Bread – Inspired by the documentary “Sweet Crude,” and in conjunction with co-director Sandy Cioffi on the music video, we plan to create “Steal the Black Bread” as single and a viral video campaign aimed at spreading awareness about the inhumane conditions of the People of the Niger Delta, as they struggle with the social and environmental degradation of more than 4 decades of crude oil exploitation.
Help us spread the Word. Your voice can help theirs. Only with You is there We.
