LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Montgomery County is still dealing with the coronavirus, but how is Lower Merion Township doing amid the pandemic.

According to data provided Friday, Lower Merion has seen more than 720 cases to date.

In total, 723 cases have been identified in the township since the start of the pandemic.

Of those cases, 396 have been women and 326 have been men. One case has not had the gender identified.

  • 90 and older — 74

Nearby, Narberth has seen 23 cases and no deaths.

The township has seen 84 deaths.

Forty-nine women and 35 men in Lower Merion have died from the virus.

One person was in their 40s, one person was in their 50s, four were in their 60s, 10 were in their 70s, 40 were in their 80s, and 28 were 90 and above.

No new coronavirus-related deaths have been reported in Lower Merion since July 8.

Montgomery County overall has seen 822 deaths and 9,850 cases as of Friday.
