2 dead, 1 officer injured in West Memphis shooting

WEST MEMPHIS (KATV) — Arkansas State Police are investigating an officer-involved shooting in West Memphis.

Local Memphis reports two people were killed after a shooting near 18th Street and McAuley Drive.

West Memphis Police say one officer was injured after being struck by a vehicle, but has since been released from the hospital.

The names of the victims have not been released.

It is unclear what led up to the shooting.
