Dallas Market Center has announced details for its March Market, which includes four trade events: Dallas Apparel & Accessories Market, Total Home & Gift Market, Lightovation and KidsWorld — all taking place March 23-26. The spring events follow record-setting shows in January that welcomed buyers from 48 states, an historic number of new buyers, and the debut of more than 100 new showrooms.

Pre-registration, which is the exclusive method to receive the FastPass for contactless entry, is now available at dallasmarketcenter.com.

For the March shows, buyers will discover new products across all categories at the once-a-year event for fashion, gifts, home décor, lighting, floral, holiday, gourmet and housewares. The marketplace will feature more than 30 new and expanded showrooms, hundreds of temps including Immediate Goods on 11, and socially distant special events and promotions including a $1,000 giveaway.  Highlights include:

  • March Apparel & Accessories Market marks the debut of fall fashion and also features an unmatched assortment of children’s apparel, accessories and gifts in KidsWorld.
  • Following the January debut of the largest marketplace for Western and English products, permanent showrooms on the 14th floor will continue to showcase the best in modern western apparel, accessories and footwear brands.
  • Total Home & Gift Market presents gifts for all occasions, specialty foods, home décor, housewares, holiday and floral. In fact, the show will offer access to full holiday lines in select showrooms plus spring and summer gifts such as graduation and weddings.
  • The rescheduled Lightovation show will highlight the debut of hundreds of new styles and technology for residential lighting to buyers eager to place orders after several months.

“Dallas is truly the center of business creativity and commerce,” said Cindy Morris, president and CEO of Dallas Market Center. “We are welcoming more first-time attendees who appreciate a single marketplace to find it all, get inspired and push their business forward for 2021. And we are doing it all with the utmost attention on supporting health and safety.”

Health & Safety Including On-Site COVID-19 Testing

Supporting the comfort, health and safety of all attendees, the market center will continue measures that include mandatory face covering and temperature screening for every person entering the marketplace every day. Other efforts include low contact entry via online pre-registration as well as enhanced cleaning with hospital grade products, hundreds of hand sanitizing stations, and signage for social distancing.

New for March: Dallas Market Center has partnered with Kai Medical Laboratory for concierge COVID-19 testing. The location is WTC 170, on the first floor of the World Trade Center. The testing is a PCR test with results in 24 hours — the type of test most often required for travelers. Hours of testing are 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Along with these new measures, there are safety features that are part of the natural design of the marketplace: open parking, large entryways, quick registration in multiple areas, wide hallways, multiple escalators to every floor, and showrooms with controlled access to allow for the appropriate distance between customers.

Special travel deals are still available for the upcoming show. To make plans visit the Dallas Market Center website and download the Dallas Market Center App. Also, keep up-to-date on all information by visiting Dallas Market Center on FacebookTwitterInstagram, and the DMC Blog.
