Trails at Terry Trueblood Recreation Area and Waterworks Prairie Park will be partially closed for natural areas maintenance.
Parts of the trail at Terry Trueblood, 579 McCollister Boulevard, will be periodically closed from Thursday, Oct. 31, 2019, until Sunday, Nov. 3, 2019, to allow for safe operation of a large forestry mower for forestry mulching.

The goal of this work is to control woody invasive species that have grown in many areas of the park.
Portions of the trails at Waterworks Prairie Park, 80 Stephen Atkins Drive, will be periodically closed from Monday, Nov. 4, 2019, until Friday, Nov. 8, 2019, for forestry mulching.
The trail closures at both parks will be moved as progress is made. Work will be done between the hours of 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. Signs will be at both parks to alert visitors of the partial closures.
