WHO'S LAUGHING NOW?

Woman who only wore trousers for FOUR years after boyfriend made cruel comments about her cellulite transforms her body in six months

Scarlett Skinner, 23, a music graduate from Surrey, ditched her unhealthy diet - and her fella - and lost two stone

FOR four years, Scarlett Skinner wore nothing but trousers, too self-conscious to wear a skirt after her then-boyfriend made cruel remarks about the cellulite on the back of her legs.

But after ditching her unhealthy diet of crisps and fry-ups (and, thankfully, her boyfriend), the 23-year-old transformed her body in just six months – and now looks incredible.

Scarlett, a music graduate from Surrey, said the toxic relationship acted as a catalyst for her initial woes.

She explained: “I was eating fry-ups for breakfast all the time, as well as copious amounts of junk-food, crisps, sweets and chocolate, and my confidence was at rock bottom.

“I was hiding away completely and completely changed the way I dressed.

“I started to notice that every single outfit I wore was long sleeved and high-necked – it was loose, long trousers and a big jacket as well. I never felt sexy or attractive.

“I remember always feeling my fat roll over my trousers in my jeans and just never being able to be comfortable when eating a meal.”

She told how her boyfriend suggested she only wore trousers “for her own benefit” because “people had been laughing at her behind her back in a club”.

“Anyone who tells someone that they should be ashamed of their body is just disgusting, but it was someone close to me, so I followed what he’d said for years,” Scarlett admitted.

After ditching her fella and finding love with an “amazing” new boyfriend, she still struggled to shake off her demons.

Scarlett explained: “I knew I was gaining weight at the start of my new relationship – it was just that comfort of sitting at home with your favourite person watching movies and eating all your favourite snacks.

“The whole time though, I just had no confidence in the way I looked.”

Feeling “held back” as a result, as well as feeling the pressures of a busy university schedule, Scarlett also worked three shifts a week at a local pub in Brighton, struggling to find the time to eat properly.

To make matters worse, her exercise regime was “absolutely non-existent”, and she soon tipped the scales at over 10 stone.

She recalled: “Before every shift I had a routine of going to the supermarket. I’d buy a giant bag of quavers, a big bag of sweets and big bars of Dairy Milk.

“That’s not to mention cheesy chips for dinner for every shift.

“I would get physically sick about twice a week because I’d over indulged and never ever had a settled stomach. My housemate asked me to run with him one day and I couldn’t even make it to the end of the road – I was so unfit!”

It was only when Scarlett asked her boyfriend to take some pictures of her in some new underwear that it finally hit home – she had to make a change.

“I honestly couldn’t believe what I was seeing, and I felt absolutely sick” she admitted.

After seeing a friend’s success using LDN Muscle’s Bikini Bible to trim up, she decided to give it a go.

“It’s hard to believe what you see on social media about ‘fitness guides’ working and special diets as you never know the people involved therefore can’t fully convince yourself they work,” Scarlett said.

“My friend Amy had completed the LDN Muscle Bikini Bible and I honestly could not believe how amazingly it worked for her. When you can see first-hand that it’s actually worked for someone you know, that encourages you to just go for it.”

Starting the guide last February, Scarlett found that it was an instant hit.
