Gerald "Jerry" George Lundwall

Gerald George Lundwall, age 83 passed away Monday, April 29, 2019 at TriStar Centennial Hospital in Nashville, TN. Jerry Lundwall was born November 24, 1935 to the late Carl Lundwall and Garda (Lund) Lundwall in Cushing, MN. He was married to Alice Lundwall for 64 years. They lived most of their life in Minnesota--Cottage Grove, Chisago City and Brainerd. They retired to Bella Vista, AR and recently moved to Holladay, TN. He was a telegraph operator for the railroad, an accountant, President of Omaha Financial Life Ins. Co., Financial Officer of MN North District for the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod, President of Bella Vista Courtesy Van, volunteer of Disabled American Veterans, volunteer of Tax Work, avid hunter, and for the last years of life enjoyed hobby farming and other recreational activities. Jerry's determination and energy were an integral part of the beginning of Lord of the Lakes Lutheran Church, Forest Lake, MN in 1977. He is survived by: Wife: Alice Lundwall, Holladay, TN; Daughters: Shelley Cape, Forest Lake, MN, and Janelle (Michael) McNally, Chisago City, MN; Son: Steve Lundwall, Holladay, TN; Grandchildren: Wendy (Caleb) Frerichs, Forest Lake, MN, Charlie (Afton) Cape, Wayzata, MN, Patrick McNally, Minneapolis, MN, Brian (Mollie) McNally, Center City, MN, Ruzana McNally, Crystal, MN, Andrew (Emily) McNally, Greenwood, IN; Great Grandchildren: Remington, Bennet, Anderson, Linnea. Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 11:00 am at Lord of the Lakes Lutheran Church, Forest Lake, MN 55025. A light lunch and visitation will follow. In lieu of flowers donations to the Bella Vista Courtesy Van (bellavistacourtesyvan.com) are requested.
