Official Reveal of Transformers Cyberverse Warrior Jetfire, Spark Armour Ratchet and More

These look pretty good, especially Shockwave, a satellite is a perfect armour option. Drift looks nifty as well

soooo Hasbro finally figured out that the secret to selling these cyberverse warrior toys is elbows and knees?

Drift and Jetfire are clear winners, as does Ratchet. Shockwave’s a surprise and I almost want to get him to replace the Warrior one I already have, which is impressive as I think it’s a pretty good figure on its own.

i wonder if they'll make deadlock from that drift(it a easy thing to do and it seem like they already plan to make a deadlock toy

i mean with actual elbow and such, i knew that was coming out, but now i want to know if they'll make a repaint of this one

You mean one elbow, Drift's right arm is only articulated at the shoulder.

Not bad. Shockwave's satellite is a nice Energon reference.

Anyway, his Autobot symbol is the Bayformers version, compared to the G1 versions of the rest.

That's weird, like Nathaniel Prime said that Jazz is pretty close to the PotP figure, but it also looks like his arms are based off the Classics toy. Kind of a bizarrely specific homage.

For some reason, Shockwaves' new head gear reminds me of other mechs.

They're not, different mechanisms. In fact, the One-Step range hardly has retools to begin with, just figures using the same style over and over.

:EDIT: and this is where re-releasing characters in the same Size Class gets confusing: It's the first One-Step, not the one shown in these images. Still not a retool: different parts, but same style.

And from the looks of it some parts like the blasters, feet, wheels and internal mechanisms are reused. Indeed a retool or reshell. I stand corrected.

the ones in this article look great

jetfire looks tempting. if he has neck articulation, i will bite. in the last pic, he looks like he turn his head around slightly, which indicates that, but it could also my eyes playing tricks on me, so i'm gonna wait for in-hand pics first.

A satellite!?!?!?! That is legit the coolest thing here, IMO. And with Shockwave too?!?!?! Now, all they have to do is paint it and/or him with more grey and green (or just go all out with green) and Hasbro is sure to piss off the fans.

Garbage trucks have big chomping jaws. That's Grimlock's kind of truck, right there.

Ratchet and Shockwave actually look surprisingly OK. Shockwave's satellite weapon is very cool and Ratchet's ambulance mode looks legit good.

Argos trying to get £7 more for Ark Optimus than the £40 at Smyths, yikes. At least Argos does clearences every now and then, so it should be easier to pick up some of the spark armor range discounted.

Grimlock/animated wreckgar combination dares to be stupid on a cool level, dread to thing how much the combination lowers the intelligence by.

i finally home. Dunno if anyone noticed that Argos page post of mine was a lil brief for me. I had written about having just been in Argos and seen their new catalogue and being disappointed it was just the younger audience stuff, no Siege or Studio but I thought I'd take a pic and post it here even though I wasn't sure someone hadn't already done so. But when I tried posting before I got the 503 kremzeek thingy error (which I seem to get a lot when trying to post on this site with my phone). So I had to go back a page and lost my post so tried again with a very short few words & the pic. So yeah. I don't really come in Cyberverse section much but thought the Argos page might have been useful or interesting to you guys.

Ok now THIS kind of babbling post is much more me. Ok, have a good day and I'mma crawl back to the Studio thread where I feel most comfortable.

Oh look at me I’m Drift now with a pretty little new paint job look how I managed to wash off all the mass murders over a long weekend retreat...Bah!! Bah I say!! only one elbow for you!

With a new Chapter of the Cyberverse cartoon not set to air until later this year, it seems like it's been a while since we've seen much Cyberverse product, with Studio Series (mostly helicopter Dropkick), Siege, and G1 reissues taking up most of the real estate on toy shelves. Well, Fall will be here sooner than we think (is it really August already??), and as if to punctuate that fact, yours truly found Warrior Class Slipstream at a local Target.



Slipstream was just announced a few weeks ago, and now, she's already showing up at retail! She's a simple recolor of the Warrior Class Starscream mold, with her only other distinction being that she has lipstick. Seriously. She's a Target exclusive, though unlike Siege Red Wing, she doesn't require a Target Redcard to buy her. She's priced at $14.99, and though that price is lower than all other lines for this roughly deluxe sized mold, you do get what you pay for. Being that the whole Cyberverse line is more focused on a kid-friendly play pattern, with simpler transformations and action gimmicks, she's not a bad figure, and certainly has a striking color combo.

I reviewed the Cyberverse toys when the line was still young. I quickly found that they did terrible on YouTube. The first two I did are currently sitting at 22 and 27 views. Generations seems to do the best, followed by Studio Series. Masterpiece and exclusives are very hit or miss, and Cyberverse is largely ignored.

Speaking in broad strokes my best vids are anything kid friendly. Very little from "Adult" lines does well.

Spotted these at two local Targets today! While I don’t collect this line, some of them are pretty neat.

I’m in the same boat I don’t buy Cyberverse but I dig some of these designs and do want that Cheetor.
