Connie says that her new album has a new sound to it as she has since learned to play several musical instruments.
She says: 'Since the first Britain's Got Talent, I've taught myself to play piano and guitar.
'I've written most of the songs myself this time around. That's been a great experience.'
Connie is hoping that this album will do as well as the first which shipped platinum in Taiwan and Hong Kong, and double platinum in Korea.
Although Connie lost out on the top spot to Paul Potts she has enjoyed plenty of music success having released four albums with the first selling 250,000 copies

Connie has also spent time in the US, where she wowed top songwriter Tobias 'Toby' Gad, who has penned hits for superstar Beyonce.
'Going to America and songwriting was amazing,' Connie said. 'It was an honour being around people like Toby who write, and learning from them.'
Connie's biggest fan base is in the Far East where her debut album shipped platinum in Taiwan and Hong Kong, and double platinum in Korea
The two recorded pop single Sail Away in Los Angeles and wrote some songs together, too.
Despite her mammoth success, Connie says she's still a homebird at heart and enjoys playing netball.
'Connie still sings all round the house,' her big sister Mollie reveals. 'I swear she even sings in her sleep.
'She deserves all this success because she is so grounded.
'She doesn't expect anything, so anything she gets is a bonus. She is changing into a young woman.'
Connie, managed by her mother and father Sharon and Gavin, has plenty of interest from the industry but she says that her education has to come first.
She said: 'I'm keeping my head down and doing all my schoolwork at the moment.
'But I have a busy summer break. I'll be travelling to Asia in August, appearing on Chinese television and releasing the new record.'
Connie has proven a big hit in the Far East. In 2010 Connie performed on Chinese government television to around 400 million people, for a special Chinese New Year celebration.
She entertained world leaders at a concert which opened the G20 world summit in Seoul earlier in the year.
And there were three sell-out shows in South Korea in 2014, when the MV Sewol ferry disaster shook the country.
The ferry capsized while carrying 476 people, mostly secondary school students. In all, 304 passengers and crew members died in the disaster.
Despite her worldwide success Connie remains grounded and focuses on her studies above singing
Connie donated the profits from the shows to charity, to help those affected by the tragedy.
Connie says that she owes her fans for her enviable career as they flocked to buy her debut album Over The Rainbow, and the three which followed it - Connie Talbot's Christmas Album (2008), Holiday Magic (2009) and Beautiful World (2012).
'My fans have been so supportive and really loyal,' she says. 'They have been there through everything. They are amazing.
'I hope that they enjoy the new album.'
