Hey folks. I’m sending my sister in law some New Glarus goodies this week, and she has asked if I’d like her to send anything back with the shippers.

She lives in Columbia Tennessee, and as I’m not familiar with the area, I was wondering if you guys could suggest a few breweries in the area worth checking out.
Not looking for anything crazy, just some good IPAs, stouts, and sours.

As some side notes, she’s most likely not going to travel a ton of distance to return this favor, and returned beers need to be 12 oz bottles and/or 12-16 oz cans.

Thanks in advance for any help. Cheers!

Have her send you some Southern Grist and Bearded Iris stuff...it should be available close to her...also Asgard Brewing is located in Columbia and they make very solid beers...

Thanks! I have definitely heard of the first two you mentioned, but have not had anything by them. I'll also take a look at Asgard, since it's in Columbia and she might already be familiar with it. Appreciate the suggestions.

Have her go by Elixir spirits, Blackstone Black Belle and variants just got released, the coconut version is always good. Might still have the New Heights BA Navel Gazer (500ml bottles so maybe too big for the shipper anyway?) hanging around, and will also have Bearded Iris cans, not sure about SGB. Bad Idea also just opened recently in Columbia, but think they only do crowlers.

Cool cool. I'll keep those in mind as well. I'm going to have to map out all of these places and see what makes the most sense travel wise, regarding to where she works and lives anyways. Thanks for the heads up though.
