WARREN COUNTY, Tenn. — An 18-year-old Amish boy was trying to cross high water with a horse and buggy when he was overtaken by high water.
According to the Southern Standard, emergency crews responded to Petty Gap road where the horse and carriage overturned Wednesday in flood waters.
Several roads were closed due to high way er in multiples counties including Warren County.
Both the 18-year-old and the horse were rescued and brought to safety.
