Bahrain Airshow: What to expect? Tejas vs JF-17

Calling all Indo-Pak aviation enthusiasts to come and share their views, wishes and expectations on the format of the flight displays of the two jets. JF-17 and Tejas.

for our part of the world of over a billion. the flight displays of the two jets will be the highlight of the show. most of us have already seen what jF-17 has pulled off in its most recent domestic and international flight displays.

turns, rolls, vertical flight, high alpha and loops etc are pretty much predicted and given the known specs of the jet together with its well documented flight display. both IAF and PAF have a benchmark or a starting point.

I wonder how far will both try to outdo their last respective flight displays? given the safety perimeters enforced by the show organizers and our safety protocols.

Tejas flight display

I am waiting for LCA to performance.

All the previous performances of LCA in indian airshow were not upto the mark or as they say tejas was not pulled toward its extreme

JF-17 has already proven its worth in many airshows

So its a better chance to compare them.

Headline will be: War of budget fighters!

It will be interesting .. lca can be pitched for jf17 buyers who are in good terms with west.

How about another vertical take off ehh ...

No criticism but all the Tejas displays i have seen seemed to be performed at high speed, never seen it doing high alpha or a muscle climb. It has good smoke winders, executing such manoeuvres will look impressive.
Albeit i heard that Farnborough Team will be managing the show still i expect the JF-17 to put up same show as in Paris.

Mehran vs Maruti is not really all that interesting, given the global marketplace for jet fighters these days.

These Arabs are really clever they just by inviting team HAL for Tejas and JF-17 at the same time have created so much social media frenzy that the rate of advertising and tickets has already gone through the roof

LCA shall perform double spin.Vertical loop in 18 second and tight loop turn in 20 second.
