Zain Bahrain celebrates Bahraini Women’s Day

Zain Bahrain, the most innovative operator in the Kingdom, honoured the dedication, talent and commitment of its women employees on the occasion of Bahrain Women’s Day. 

Launched by the Supreme Council for Women, the Bahraini Women Day is a nation-wide initiative whereby the 1st of December of every year is dedicated to highlight and celebrate the achievements of women in their given fields. 

“Zain Bahrain is committed towards the development of its employees. Bahraini women make up a very significant part of Zain’s workforce across all levels. We are also proud of our strong team of female leaders which are an integral part of the company’s growth and drive.”

Furthermore, “They help shape brand perspective within the marketing and corporate communications department; they deliver service quality through our customer service unit; they set the tone of our HR policies and play an integral role in the innovative and record-setting technical team,” said General Manager, Mohamed Zainalabedin, from Zain Bahrain. 

“We are also very proud of our achievements; our strong female workforce has an ongoing string of accomplishments. We boast a team of 13 female employees holding significant leadership and executive posts,” said Zainalabedin. 

“Another key achievement is our high Bahrainization rate of 88 percent. We are very proud of training and empowering the nationals to prepare them for leadership roles in the workforce,” he added.
