Troopers say man charged with murder of woman in Johnson County, Ky.

OIL SPRINGS, Ky. (WCHS/WVAH) — Kentucky State Police have charged a man with the murder of a woman in Johnson County.

Paul Lemay, 50, of Oil Springs was charged with murder, according to a news release from State Police.

Troopers said they received information about a woman dead inside a home on KY Route 825 in Oil Springs on Monday. Troopers found Mandy Lemay, 27, of Oil Springs dead from a gunshot.

It is unclear at this time if the suspect and victim are related. Troopers continue to investigate.
