The club was started by University of Cincinnati students with a passion for cars.
Founder of UC Car Club and Cars and Coffee, Calvin Proffitt says he grew up going to cars and coffee events, but realized that Cincinnati didn't have one. So, him and his friend started hosting it and UC sponsored the club.
Proffitt says the event is about bringing people together.
"Today we're just out enjoying the weather, even though it's a little cloudy but we're seeing some awesome cars, enjoy the view, a lot of people come out and show off their cars and talk about things want to do to them, things they plan to do and we just have an awesome environment for people to come out and show off their cars," Proffitt said.
Proffitt says the event has grown a lot since it started three years ago. He says they only had six cars the first year, but this year they had more than 150 cars show up.
