Gulf International Bank honours long-serving employees at annual Ghabga
Twenty-six long serving employees were honoured by Gulf International Bank (GIB) at a special ceremony held in the Diplomat Hotel, Bahrain, during GIB’s annual Ghabga. The event was attended by Board Member, Abdulla Al Zamil, the Chief Executive Officer of the bank, Dr. Yahya Alyahya, along with 500 employees.
The ceremony is part of an annual celebration, where GIB honours its most dedicated employees from its six branches and representative offices (Bahrain, KSA, UAE, London, Lebanon and New York).

Gulf International Bank
Gulf International Bank B.S.C. (GIB) was established in the Kingdom of Bahrain in 1975, and commenced operations in 1976. In 2017, GIB became the first foreign domiciled bank to be granted approval from the Saudi Arabia Council of Ministers to establish a local commercial bank in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Consequently, GIB's branch offices in the Kingdom will become part of the Saudi Arabian subsidiary, with the country headquarters located in Al Dhahran.
