Learning Resources debuts 'Building Someone Amazing' campaign to celebrate parents impact on their children

(VERNON HILLS, IL)- Learning Resources, an award-winning educational toy company, announced the launch of their "Building Someone Amazing" brand campaign, highlighting the important role parents and caregivers play in providing the foundational skills that help children grow, develop, learn and stay curious. Learning Resources believes that children learn best through play and parents are the driving force behind shaping future generations. As a result, the toys parents choose for their child are the building blocks that help develop who it is they will become.

Inspired by Learning Resources' iconic building block logo, the company is celebrating parents and caregivers with the connection of using their unique traits that make up someone amazing, such as Ambitious, Adventurous, Alex. This is part of an overall digital media campaign which supports the idea that Learning Resources is a partner in creating a lifelong love of learning, starting with commending parents and caregivers for their positive impact on helping children reach key development milestones.

As a way for participants to share and follow each other's journey of building someone amazing, Learning Resources has created a hashtag (#BuildingSomeoneAmazing) and GIFs that influencers and employees will share via Instagram using inspiring adjectives accompanied with their child's name. The month-long celebration kicks off on October 1st, highlighting 26 names from A to Z.

"It takes smart choices to build a great kid, from the foods they eat to the toys they play with. Our award-winning educational toys offer the building blocks your children need to develop a foundation of learning and curiosity that will last a lifetime. When you choose a toy from Learning Resources, you are helping your child build who they'll become," said Marie LaPlante, Chief Marketing Officer at Learning Resources. "Our hope is parents who follow this campaign are inspired to share their own someone amazing, and we encourage everyone to join in on this initiative; you never know who you will inspire."

Learning Resources also wants to ensure that every family has the tools to help build their someone amazing. With each GIF badge that is shared, Learning Resources will donate $1 worth of educational toys to the Kids In Need Foundation for a total of up to $25,000 in product value. Kids In Need Foundation provides the support and resources needed for teachers to teach and learners to learn and has distributed more than $1 billion in school supplies since 1995.

Parents everywhere are encouraged to join in on the fun by searching for the GIFs located on Instagram Stories and posting their own story of how they're building someone amazing.
