Portion of Georgetown Road closed for 6 weeks in Carroll County

A portion of Georgetown Road will be closed for approximately six weeks in Carroll County. This is according to the Carroll County Sheriff's Office.
In a
, officials said the closure will be two miles north of Lanark and will begin on Tuesday, May 5.
The closure will be from IL Rt. 73 westerly to Stone Bridge Road and this will be for road construction.
The work is expected to last for approximately six weeks.
