LOWVILLE, N.Y. (WWNY) - Theresa A. Golden, 55, of Erie Canal Road, Lowville, passed away Thursday evening, November 28, 2019, at her home under the loving care of her family and Lewis County Hospice.

A funeral Mass will be said at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 2, 2019 at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church, Croghan, with Rev. Donald Manfred, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Stephen’s Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.

Theresa is survived by her husband of nearly 35 years, Dan; three children, Michelle (Derrick) Clark of Glens Falls; Jessica (Chett) Forbus of South Berwick, ME; Patrick Golden at home; five grandchildren, Madison, Camden, Sadie, Leo and Liv; her father, Robert E. Ross of Lowville; a brother, Robert L. Ross of Liverpool; her husband’s family, her mother-in-law, Patricia Golden; Jim and Sally Golden; Reg and Tammy Golden; Debbie and Tim Addington; Vicky Golden; Joey Golden; aunts and uncles; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is predeceased by her mother, Michele Ross and a brother-in-law Michael Golden.

Theresa was born on September 14, 1964 in Lowville, New York, a daughter of Robert E. Ross and the late Michele André Ross. She graduated from Beaver River Central School in 1982 and from Jefferson Community College in 1984 with a degree in Secretarial Science.

On February 9, 1985, she married Dan A. Golden at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church, Croghan with Father Aquinas officiating.

Theresa worked part time at a variety of businesses over the years, and was primarily a stay at home mom.

Theresa was a communicant of St. Stephen’s Catholic Church, Croghan. She enjoyed reading, crafts, baking and cooking with her children and grandchildren.
