Later in August, other maps will be introduced and are designed to be intense and tighter for close-quarter encounters - something Battlefield fans have been craving.Operation Underground is another new map that was shown off by EA, which takes place in underground subways, a bank, big court yards, streets and more. It’s coming in October, between Chapter 4 and Chapter 5.
Core gameplay updates coming to Battlefield V include the max rank going from 50 to 500. Coins will be given for each level up beyond 50, and every 50 ranks will provide new dogtags and more. This update is coming in August.DICE also discussed Chapter 5, which takes place in the Pacific theater of war. As the US and Japan clash, they’ll fight in iconic locations like Iwo Jima. Fans have been anticipating the Pacific theater of WWII for Battlefield V, and Chapter 5 will include three maps from the Pacific.
