COVID-19: Two new deaths in El Dorado County, three in Douglas County

On Friday there were 32 new cases of COVID-19 in El Dorado County and two new deaths, and for the week in Douglas County there were 119 new cases and three new deaths.

El Dorado County

Pollock Pines, Camino, Kyburz - 816 cases - +5 - The 14-day new case rate is 56 with 413 per 100,000 residents.

El Dorado Hills - 3195 cases - +9 - The 14-day new case rate is 126 with 297 per 100,000 residents.
Diamond Springs, El Dorado - 722 cases - +6 - The 14-day new case rate is 38 with 404 per 100,000 residents.
North County - 785 cases - +2 - The 14-day new case rate is 38 with 262 per 100,000 residents.
Greater Placerville - 2758 cases - +7 - The 14-day new case rate is 133 with 363 per 100,000 residents.
Cameron Park/Shingle Springs/Rescue - 2683 cases - +12 - The 14-day new case rate is 152 with 430 per 100,000 residents.
South County - 213 cases - +1 - The 14-day new case rate is 13 with 125 per 100,000 residents.
Lake Tahoe region - 3419 cases - +5 - The 14-day new case rate is 69 with 228 per 100,000 residents.

The active case count is 1,033 - (-19). 886 additional negative test results - 56 assumed recoveries (13,753).

To date, 135 El Dorado County residents have died from COVID-19. There were two new deaths due to COVID-19 recorded today:

Male, 18-49; Cameron Park, Shingle Springs, Rescue
Female, 65+; Greater Placerville

There are 15 (-1) hospitalized with 4 (+0) in the ICU. Of these patients, 14 are hospitalized at Marshall, 2 at Barton. Of the ICU patients, 1 is in Barton, 3 at Marshall in Placerville.

Currently the State's website says there are 2 available ICU beds in the county, 1 at Barton Health in South Lake Tahoe, 1 at Marshall. Barton has said there are plenty of beds available even if the state's website doesn't show it.
