Fargo North 28, Fargo South 3

FARGO — North rolled to a Class A Eastern Dakota Conference victory over Fargo South on Friday.

North rose to 2-0 both overall and in EDC Class A. South dropped to 0-2 overall and 0-1 in EDC Class A.

Fargo Shanley 21, Bismarck 20

FARGO — Shanley edged Bismarck on Friday in North Dakota Class AA action. It was the teams' first meeting since 2003.

Shanley's Aidan DeVine had 240 all-purpose yards and two touchdowns. Michael Rostberg ran for a TD. The Deacons trailed 20-7 entering the fourth quarter and scored two touchdowns in the last eight minutes to clinch the victory.

Shanley improved to 2-0 overall, while Bismarck fell to 1-1.

Fargo Davies 26, Minot 20

MINOT, N.D. — Davies took down Minot in a North Dakota Class AA matchup.

Davies improved to 1-1 this season, while Minot fell to 0-2.

Moorhead Park Christian 21, Kittson County Central 12

LANCASTER, Minn. — Max Albrecht threw for two touchdowns and ran for the other in the Falcons’ victory Friday.

Albrecht threw scoring passes to Phil Lien and Austin Carlson. He hit 9-of-12 passes for 70 yards. Carlson caught five passes for 63 yards and Lien rushed 18 times for 85 years. Albrecht carried nine times for 36 yards and the TD. Kyle Card ran nine times for 46 yards and caught a 20 yard pass.

Defensively, the Falcons’ Caden Larson had nine tackles and an interception. Riley Erkenbrack had four sacks and Carlson had two sacks.
