James “Jim” Ouradnik

James Edward Ouradnik (Jim), 76, Richardton, formerly of Makoti, died Wednesday, January 15, 2020 in his home. Memorial Mass Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at 10:00am in St. Bridget Catholic Church, Parshall. Interment will take place Tuesday at 3:00pm in the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan. Jim was born September 5, 1943 in Minot to Edward and Alice (Heffern) Ouradnik.

Jim is survived by his children, Jamie (Lisa Samuelson), grandchildren Lee and Morgan of Thief River Falls, MN; Shawn (Suzie), grandchildren Logan (Caitlyn) Kalenze, Jenna, Madelyn, Kami of Bismarck, ND; stepdaughters, Ruby (Lisa Knecht) Holt; Sonia (Darren) Zuck of Minot, and grandchildren Jessica (Todd) Johnson of Fargo and Keith Julson of Plaza; siblings John (Kathy) of Minot, Walter (Lynda) of New Town, Lyle of Makoti, Joseph (Rita) of Big Stone City, SD; Francis Zerr (Kerry) of Williston and Emily Wagner of Watford City; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Alice, and siblings Timothy, Kathleen, and Katherine Ouradnik.
