A man accused of killing a woman in Clermont County has been extradited back to the county after being arrested in Georgia on separate warrants. Prosecuting Attorney Mark J. Tekulve ordered the extradition of Kyle Johnston, who has been indicted for murder, involuntary manslaughter, reckless homicide, felonious assault, weapons under disability and tampering with evidence. Tekulve said Johnston is accused of killing Kendra Hoskin in 2020, who he was in a relationship with.The two were in a car when Johnston is accused of shooting Hoskins during an argument. His bond was set at $125,000 in December 2020. Later that month, his bond was reduced to $50,000. He posted bond on Feb. 23, 2021.The court scheduled a bond review hearing and when Johnston didn't appear, they found out he fled to Georgia.While in Georgia, Johnston was arrested on warrants. Johnston appeared for a bond hearing before Judge Kevin T. Miles where his bond was set at $1 million. A court date is scheduled for pre-trial on July 6, 2022. If convicted of all counts, Johnston faces a maximum possible prison sentence of life with the possibility of parole after 42 years.
