As Linklaters’ senior partner Charlie Jacobs heads towards the exit this autumn, the process for finding his replacement among the firm’s 470-odd partners has been given the greenlight. 

Already, four contenders have emerged seeking election and as ever London has become a focal point for the election process, fielding three of the four candidates.
