KSP searching for missing Tompkinsville man

TOMPKINSVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Investigators with Kentucky State Police are asking for the public's help to locate a missing man.
According to KSP, Mark Proffitt, 45, of Tompkinsville, was last seen on Mo Lane around midnight on July 26.
Proffitt is described as being 6'0'' tall and weighing 180 pounds, with brown eyes and light brown hair.
Anyone with information on where he may be is asked to call KSP at 1-800-222-555 or 911. Tips on his location can also be submitted by texting 67283.
