Leah Elliott, 40, and her fiancé, James Born, 34, had been trying to conceive a child for four years with no success.

After enduring the pain of going through five miscarriages and feeling like they would never have their own child, Leah decided that it was time to start saving up their money for IVF. But one day, Leah happened to stumble across a magazine article about hypnotherapy that changed everything.

"I was at fertility show last year when I came across Fertilty Road magazine," Leah explained. "In it, hypnotist Russell Davis was saying how he can help women overcome fertility problems in their mind."

Leah, who connected with Russell during Skype hypnosis sessions, also listened to personalized CDs he had made her before bedtime. Leah claims that his lessons helped rid her of her fears and anxieties, which allowed her body to conceive.

"Russell managed to change my way of thinking by helping me live a stress-free lifestyle," she said. "He taught me to stop convincing my body that I couldn't conceive naturally. Longing for a baby didn't need to involve putting my life on hold and I started to realize that if it was meant to be then it would happen."

Because she believed Russell's hypnosis was working, Leah decided to take the money she had been saving for IVF and use it instead to go on a relaxing vacation to Greece.

"I had been diagnosed with endometriosis and Graves disease, which both affect fertility, and I was warned by doctors that the likelihood of IVF working anyway was very slim," Leah said about her decision to stop saving. "IVF puts a lot of stress on your body and I was always really worried about going through with it—so we decided to keep trying naturally."

Just before Leah was about to go to Greece last July, she found out that she was pregnant. Nine months later, she delivered a healthy baby boy.

While many factors could've contributed to her successful pregnancy, Leah believes that practicing a healthy diet and hypnotherapy helped her focus her emotions, de-stress, and ultimately bring her little boy into the world. To help others who are also battling fertility issues, she's now promoting fertility reflexology.

"I decided to try and keep positive despite the risk of miscarriage, and thanks to my hypnotherapy sessions I was able to remain calm," Leah said. "I hope other couples struggling to conceive read our story and realize there is always hope and other options available."
