New details were released Thursday in the search for a Seminole County couple who is missing in New York.
Police in Buffalo released new information and video in the case.
It started Monday when a 3-year-old boy was found sleeping on a stranger's doorstep, with no parents anywhere.
Police later determined his parents were Nicole Plaud and Miguel Valentin-Colon from Longwood. They are missing.
That same day, a burned-out vehicle containing human remains was found close to where the boy was sleeping, but at the time, police were not connecting the cases.
On Thursday, Buffalo police announced that the burned out car was the same car that was rented by the couple.
They also said there were two bodies inside, but they have not been able to identify them as the couple.
Investigators said that identifying the bodies could take up to four weeks.
Buffalo police now call this a homicide investigation. On Thursday, police released surveillance video from the neighborhood where the boy and the burned out car were found. It shows two people, and the 3-year-old boy running next to them.
Police want to find those two people.
Back at home, the grandmother of that 3-year-old boy is working to bring him him home to Central Florida. He remains in state custody in New York.
