'Coming this summer!' Pregnant MAFS star Davina Rankin is visibly emotional during her first ultrasound scan - as she reveals the baby's due date

She announced last week that she's three months pregnant with her first child.

And Married At First Sight's Davina Rankin became visibly emotional during a major milestone of her pregnancy on Monday: her first ultrasound scan.

In a video shared to Instagram on Monday, the 28-year old gasped with delight as she and her boyfriend Jaxon Manuel saw the first image of their baby.  

Baby love: 'I have a funny feeling it's a girl but by her reaction now I'm thinking it might be a boy because I think there's a big old (whistles) in there,' she said

Jaxon, who captured the heartwarming photo, revealed the child's due date in the caption, writing: 'Baby Manuel. Coming this summer.' 

Davina, who is around 14 weeks pregnant, told NW magazine earlier this month that she had lost six kilograms due to 'intense' morning sickness.

She explained: 'I'm not eating nearly as much as I would usually. My meal portions are a lot smaller. Also, I haven't trained for three months so I'm losing muscle.'

Davina added that while she doesn't yet know the sex of her baby, she is 'really hoping for the universe to give [her] a girl'.

She has been dating café owner Jaxon for over a year now, but says they are in no rush to get married.

Instead, the couple are focusing on their new arrival and their plans to buy a house.

Davina also hopes that becoming a mother will help people to realise she is a 'different person' to the impulsive young bride who appeared on MAFS last year.

She had starred on the show's fifth season and found herself at the centre of a cheating scandal after plotting an 'affair' with fellow contestant Dean Wells.

While the betrayal led to the breakdown of her 'marriage' to tradesman Ryan Gallagher, Davina claims the incident now 'feels like a lifetime ago'.

'I feel like there was never a time when I wasn't with Jax,' she said. 'Married At First Sight seems like a whole other world. It's strange.'
