Seneca Valley Goes French With 2019 Homecoming

This year's homecoming theme is "A Night In Paris."

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA - A carnival, parade and fireworks will highlight Seneca Valley High School's homecoming festivities. This year's theme: "A Night In Paris."

The carnival will occur Sept. 26 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the district's secondary campus in Jackson Township. Food booths will offer fare such as nachos, pulled pork sandwiches, apple crisps and more. Game booths will include a bean bag toss, a duck pond and raffles. The parade will feature the Seneca Valley “Roaring” Raider Marching Band, local fire trucks and floats created by student sports teams and organizations. The evening will conclude with a fireworks display.

Earlier this month, seniors chose 21 classmates to represent their homecoming court. The ladies of the 2019 Homecoming Court are Abigail Adams, Kate Chieppor, Charlee Dawson, Isabella Febbraro, Kendall Graham, Katherine Kamarec, Angelina Khoury, Norah Seibel, Zoe Stebbins, Breana Valentovish and Madison Yurich. The gentlemen of the court include Mason Bush, Caleb Dawson, Cole Eckenrode, Tyler Flood, Conor Hayes, Nishant Jayachandran, Cory Lindey, Evan Moeller, Ryan Sims and Blake Zahorchak.

Seneca Valley’s homecoming king and queen will be announced during the Raider Football pregame festivities at 7 p.m. on Sept. 27 at NexTier Stadium. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m., when Seneca Valley plays North Allegheny.
