2-Year-Old Found Unresponsive In Twin Cities Metro Pond

While at the pond, family and friends ​found the boy unresponsive​​. Police and EMS crews responded to the scene just after 7 p.m.

ANOKA COUNTY, MN — A toddler was hospitalized after he was found unresponsive in a pond in the north Twin Cities metro Saturday night. The incident happened at Lions Park in the city of Ham Lake, located in Anoka County.

The boy is 2-years-old, KSTP reports.

While at the pond, family and friends found the boy unresponsive. Police and EMS crews responded to the scene just after 7 p.m.

The child was airlifted to Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis, and his current condition is unknown, according to a news release from the Anoka County Sheriff's Office.
